Sara was the only Latin American actress to play Christine Daaé in “The Phantom of the Opera” for two consecutive years in Brazil and then ten years later, in the Original 25th Anniversary World Tour. In Brazil, she also played Cosette in “Les Miserables”, Fiona in “Shrek”, Jellylorum in “Cats”, Anita in “West Side Story, Morticia in “Addams Family”, Grace in "Annie", Dead Mum in "Billy Elliot, Rosalie Mullins in "School of Rock", Glinda in “The Wizard of Oz”, Mrs Bucket in "Charlie and The Chocolate Factory", Janet Van De Graaff in “The Drowsy Chaperone” - nominated Best Actress at 2º Bibi Ferreira Awards, and Aldonza in "Man of La Mancha", also nominated Best Actress at 3º Bibi Ferreira Awards.
Currently on as Marita Bell in "The Chorus", a Disney Plus series, released in Latin America and about to be released in 42 countries.
In television, she was cast in the Rede Record soap opera “Dona Xepa” and can be seen in numerous TV ads. Sara has also appeared as “Stella” in the critically acclaimed short film: “Five Minutes” and in the reality show "Talentos", a musical theatre talent show from Cultura Channel as a member of the Jury and vocal coach.
She made her Opera debut at the age of fifteen in “The Magic Flute” as the Queen of the Night and since then has been part of several productions such as: “La Boheme” (Musetta), “Carmen” (Micaela) and Classical Concerts as a soloist.
A great supporter and defender of Culture and Arts education in Brazil, during the pandemics she contributed as Counselor of COSIC/FIESP (Superior Council of the Entertainment Industry of FIESP).
Sara has perfected her acting skills with many coaches from the USA, such as Ned Canty, John Norris, Ira Stiff and Barbara Rubin. In Brazil, Beth Dorgan's Clown workshop, acting for film at Studio Fatima Toledo and at the International Academy of Cinema with Christian Duurvoort. In the UK studied Meisner Technique with Scott Williams (Impulse Company) and Acting at The Actor's Centre.
Enthusiastic about scientific production in voice, music, singing and performing arts, he has participated in several types of research, round tables, debates and lectures.
Speech and Language pathologist and therapist, specialist in Artistic High Performance, Sara owns "Casa da Voz", a virtual voice clinic and teaches at the Vocal Pedagogy Postgraduate Course from Santa Marcelina College. She was the creator and Head of the Voice department of “The Musical Theater Conservatory at SESI-SP, Brazil”, implemented and coordinated the voice department of Duetos School of Music in Fortaleza, Ceará, and through Vocal-SP, collaborated in the formation of the first Brazilian group of the LoVetri Somathic VoiceWork Method, with its Interpretation Workshop for Musical Theater.
Her musical training and vocal studies includes the School of Music of Brasília, the University of Brasília, Opera training in Milan with Rita Patané, IVAI Summer Opera Program in Tel Aviv, Israel with Joan Dornemann, Mignon Dunn, Richard Barrett, Musical Theater in New York with Christian Fletcher, Dan Gattinger, Mary Setrakian and in London with Anne Marie Speed (The Estill Method), Louise Shepherd and Mary Hammond (Royal Academy of Music), and at the IX PEVoc (Pan European Congress of Voice) in Belgium, where she had her first contact with Jeannie LoVetri and the Somathic Voice Method.
The greatest diva of Brazilian musical theater has the voice of a princess, lyrical training, the physical preparation of an athlete and the beauty of those who inspire music.
